The Walking Shoe That Is Right For You
How do you walk? It is by the first contact of the heel to the ground, then moving your body weight pass through your foot until you finally push off your body with your toes. There is a big difference in running and walking. As you stride, one of your foot is always in contact with the ground, while in running, at each step, you are airborne in a split of second. This is why a walking shoe must have the following qualities:

• The Cushion – this play an important role in protecting the heel of your feet, where in each step you apply a forceful impact and where you press off by your forefoot. In a typical shoe, you can see at the bottom that there is an outsole, which is usually “Black,” that is thick for the purpose that you will not feel much of the surface and to wear out your shoe too quickly.
There is also another layer that is between the inside of the shoe and that of the outsole which the mid-sole layer that has a material that is called a “cush” which is derived from the word “cushion.”
• Flexible – You can have a foot pain if the shoe that you are wearing is too stiff. Remember that your foot bone are more in action as you do the flexion in every step you make, so the flexibility of the shoe is very important. The shoe must follow every bend of your foot.
• Stable – a walking shoe that has a good quality is the one which has a very hard support that surround the back of the heel.
• Good Fitting – your foot should feel no pressure and there is a room for your toes to wiggle against the tops of the shoe. It is advised to have at least a thumb’s width space between the end of the shoe and your longest toe.
Try visit a shoe store near you and choose one that have all the qualities for a walking shoe. Always try and walk around the shoe and see if it feels good to you. Remember to always go for the one that is high engineered for the comfort and care of your foot.
